You may have noticed that Apex Moving & Storage is heavily involved in the community, especially when it comes to providing food for the hungry. Apex has participated in several food drives and even hosted our own drives since our founding in 1997.
It is with great pride that we announce we have been recognized by Move For Hunger as having provided over 500,000 lifesaving meals to our community!
Move For Hunger is a charity that’s entwined with the moving and storage industry. We have been partnered with them since 2015.
Since partnering with Move For Hunger five years ago, we have collected 617,764 pounds of food. That equates to about 514,000 meals for the community in and around Puyallup, Washington!
In the year 2020 alone (and we’re only in July), Apex has collected over 60,000 pounds of food.
Apex Moving & Storage strives to be a leader in the community, and giving back is one of the ways we lead. As a family-owned and operated company, our motto is: “God. Family. Business.” No matter how busy we are in our schedules, we find time to give back to the community.
Currently, 1 in 9 Americans struggle with hunger or food insecurity. Here at Apex, we would like to be a force for good to change that.
