Prepare for your first night
It’s never a bad idea to have a box or a suitcase that carries the essentials for living so that, come the next day, you can find what you don’t want to live without. Things like toiletries, food, water, coffee, some clothes, shampoo, medications, toilet paper, baby supplies (if there is one) and so on. And don’t forget about some CASH. Think about what you’re going to need first thing the next day and be sure to set that aside or in your car so you can find what you need when you need it.
