1. Plan Ahead & Start Early
With your official move day in mind, plan to start the moving process two months ahead of the Big Day. While creating your checklist, set milestones for tasks that are difficult or annoying, such as having your utilities turned off or submitting a change of address.
2. Ask for Help
Packing can be very time consuming and anxiety-inducing. Instead of trying to do it all on your own, reach out if you need extra assistance. Friends and family are typically more than happy to lend a hand, and it is a great way to get some extra time in your home with loved ones before you move.
